Tall Poppy Viognier
is a fresh and lively white wine, with apricot and tropical fruit overtones.

This wine has a well balanced acid structure and a refreshing dry finish,
it is an aromatic seductive wine, a classic Australian Viognier showing
good length of flavour and excellent weight.

Viognier is fast growing in popularity - the
choice of drinkers and growers alike. The last ten years has seen a massive
increase in Viognier production throughout the world and more recently we
have begun to see this grape type challenging the monopoly of Chardonnay.
Both Chardonnay and Viognier share tropical fruit flavours and a creamy mouthfeel.
Even with little or no wood aging, Viognier can be as full-bodied as an oaky
Chardonnay, but has much more distinctive fruit character. It also has a typically
deep golden color, as well as rich and intense flavour.
