Tall Poppy Shiraz
has a deep ruby red colour, with an aroma of blackberries, plums and hints
of vanilla.

The palate is dominated by concentrated blackcurrant and raspberry fruit.
A balance of natural tannins gives the wine plenty of grip and showcases
sweet berry fruit with a soft lingering acid finish.
Foods:
It is an ideal accompaniment for lamb, beef or pasta.
Cellaring:
This wine can be enjoyed immediately or will reward with medium term cellaring
of three to four years.
Choosing wine for a meal used to be determined
by simple rules: red wines with red meat and white wines with fish and white
meat. Does it make sense to follow "rules" that apply to wine and
food matching? Or do we simply pick blindly from the wine list?
There are "principles" to get you through the rough spots, but don’t
expect them to tell you exactly what to drink with what. In addition things
have loosened up a lot and most vintners and chefs agree you should drink
the wines you enjoy most with the foods you like best, regardless of color.
