La Fée Absinthe has quite a few high-profile followers. Actors and artists like Johnny Depp, Marilyn Manson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Eminem and Damien Hirst have all discovered the potency of La Fée on various occasions.

It's a fact that up through times famous artists and writers have devoted much time and devotion on consuming and celebrating the Green Fairy in their works of art. Vincent Van Gogh, Ernest Hemingway, Oscar Wilde and Paul Gaugin were some of the keenest absinthe drinkers.

The day the first delivery of La Fée Absinthe arrived in the UK, Depp sent his limo to the British headquarters while he was nearby filming Sleepy Hollow to collect a bottle of absinthe.

Apparently Johnny Depp remains a firmly committed absinthe drinker to this day as can be seen in the Jack the Ripper movie From Hell.

Leonardo DiCaprio received a personal absinthe tutorial session whilst attending the £1 million UK premiere party for the movie The Beach that was held in an old library building in London.

DiCaprio said he'd tried some crazy drinks while they'd been shooting out in Thailand, "but this stuff will be top of my list now".

Manson drinks La Fée Absinthe, and in the kind of large quantities you would expect from a controversial rockstar.

"Absinthe is his thing," said a spokesperson for his record company. "He likes to drink half a bottle before going on stage to get in the mood for a performance".
